short vita
Benjamin Skorov (born 1998 in Northeim, Germany) is a violinist and violist of Russian descent. After obtaining a bachelor's degree from the Hochschule für Künste Bremen (Germany), he emigrated to Belgium to pursue his master's studies at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp. The academic education was supplemented with regular participation in international masterclasses in Germany, Austria, Italy, and Russia. Additionally, experiences as a soloist, chamber musician, and as part of orchestras in classical and genre-bending productions in- and outside of Germany have been the main well of inspiration. After finishing the master’s magna cum laude, Benjamin returned to Germany, where he moved to and is now based in Berlin to continue his education and widen the horizon.
